2025 Spring Break Employee Parking

As SFO anticipates increased passenger volumes over the upcoming Spring Break period, we find it necessary to make a temporary change to the current discounted daily parking program for Airport tenant employees.

Starting Friday, March 28, 2025, and ending on Sunday, April 13, 2025, the $13 discounted daily rate for Airport tenant employees will only be offered in Lot D and not the International Garages. Lot D will be staffed 24/7 to process employee transactions for all shifts.

This temporary change is to provide adequate parking for the traveling public and preserve parking revenues.

Employee Shuttle Bus frequencies are listed below. The Airport will monitor ridership and potentially add buses if needed.

Lot D

  • 03:00 am - 09:00 am - Every 5 Min
  • 09:00 am - 12:00 pm - Every 6 - 7 Min
  • 12:00 pm - 06:00 pm - Every 5 Min
  • 06:00 pm - 08:00 pm - Every 6 to 7 Min
  • 08:00 pm - 12:30 am - Every 5 Min
  • 12:30 am - 03:00 am - Every 12 Min

In addition to the temporary change detailed above, we developed the recommendations below so that there will be minimal disruption to employees’ work schedules. These best practices will assist in reducing the overall footprint of the vehicles parking in our garages and apply to the peak period from Friday, March 28, 2025, through Sunday, April 13, 2025.

  • Please plan on arriving to work early as there may be limited available space in your assigned parking facility.
    • Accordingly, please be prepared to be rerouted to an alternative parking facility if real-time occupancy exceeds projections. Fliers with maps and directions will be distributed to those who are rerouted.
  • To help alleviate congestion in International Garage G, please consider using the Level 3 exit lanes instead of exiting on Level 1. A cashier will be staffed on Level 3 from 8a – 12a starting Friday, March 28, 2025, through Sunday, April 13, 2025, to provide assistance.
  • If possible, we encourage carpooling with fellow coworkers or taking other transportation modes to minimize the number of parked vehicles in our garages.

Thank you in advance for your support during this busy holiday period.
