Safety & Security Training

Computer-Based Training (CBT)

Requirements

Prior to training, applicants must successfully pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA). Applicants must take and pass computer based training(s) and obtain their badge within 30 business days of the CHRC clearance notification. In the event this deadline is exceeded, the applicant will need to reapply for the CHRC and pay a fee.

Applicants must bring a valid government issued ID or their Airport ID Badge to their CBT appointment. If the applicant plans to pick up their badge after passing their computer based training, they must bring in the same two forms of government issued identification presented when they were fingerprinted.

All training modules include a test which must be passed before a badge can be issued. If a test is not passed, retesting is scheduled at the first available appointment.
