Airline brings low-fares, 787 Dreamliner service, from SFO to London-Gatwick March 31st, 2019 Low-cost airline Norwegian today announced plans to move its existing nonstop London-Gatwick service from Oakland to SFO in the spring of 2019, offering flights five times per week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Flights from SFO begin March 31, 2019. Recognizing Transgender Awareness Month and Transgender Day of Remembrance The Airport’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) hosted a Noontime Knowledge Workshop featuring guest speaker Maceo Persson, Civic Engagement and Operations Manager for the City’s Office of Transgender Initiatives. Please note that on Thursday, November 29th, starting at 5:00pm, Central Plant chillers at SFO will be shut down in order to make system upgrades. While shut down, there will be no cooling source for the entire terminal complex. Normal operations are expected to resume by 6:00am on Friday, November 30th. While the Airport has taken measures to minimize the effects in the terminals, employees and passengers may experience a slight rise in temperature during the shutdown.
