All Airport Employees Required to Wear Face Covering at Work

Every employee of every business and public agency operating at the Airport must wear a face covering while at work.  This includes both public facing and non-public facing Airport work sites and specifically includes working in or walking through common areas such as hallways, stairways, elevators, and parking facilities. The face covering may be cloth, such as a scarf or bandana, as long as it fully covers the mouth and nose.

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, individuals who fail to comply with the Order may receive a citation from the San Francisco Police Department – Airport Bureau.

The Airport expects that all SFO Tenants, Vendors, Permit Holders, Contractors and Public Agencies will comply with the Order to help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
