SFPD Officer John Leong and two Airport guests are being recognized for their roles in saving the life of an SFO passenger who suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday, May 19. Tunnel D, which leads from the Domestic Parking Garage to Terminal 2, will be closed effective Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 7:00am. The tunnel is expected to be closed for 8-10 months for extensive renovations, including replacement of moving walkways. We anticipate reopening in February 2020. All access to Terminal 2 from the parking garage will be via the Terminal 2 mezzanine bridge. We will notify you once we have a firm opening date. Please note, this closure only affects the tunnel.
